The transport sector plays a key role in building a net-zero economy and society by 2050. To achieve this target, the sector needs to undergo a comprehensive transformation with a drastic reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of around 90%, while offering affordable and healthy solutions for the citizens at the same time.

The development of sustainable transport is also essential for economic growth, which is particularly important in the light of the Covid19 pandemic. Recent years have had a major impact on transport and connections between countries, which requires a cross-disciplinary approach to be addressed properly. In Hungary, the demand for local and intercity passenger transport has decreased recently, thus there is a need to promote public and bicycle transport and to put environmentally friendly solutions at the forefront.

Our company has extensive experience in the preparation of detailed feasibility studies for transport networks, sustainable urban mobility plans and cost-benefit analyses, as well as in transport modelling. We believe that it is essential to examine possible transport interventions in a complex way, keeping in mind the quality of life of city dwellers, the liveability of cities, the utilization of the resources involved and the environmental impact equally. We strive to promote sustainable, smart transport solutions based on our international experience in successful European projects.
